Siegfried Koitschka Died : 17 / 5 / 2002

Kapitanleutnant Siegfried Koitschka (deceased) Knights Cross 27th January, 1944. Captain of U-616, Siegfried Koitschka took part in some of the toughest actions of World War II. U-616 was eventually sunk in May 1945, he and 53 of his crew survived and were taken prisoner. Died 17th May 2002.
